NEII® Field Employee Safety Committee

For over 25 years the National Elevator Industry Inc. (NEII®) has supported a safety committee devoted to field safety in the industry. ELEVATOR WORLD publishes the material that comes from this committee as a benefit to the industry -- most notably The Elevator Industry Field Employee's Safety Handbook. The committee is composed of the safety directors of a number of NEII® companies and a representative of National Elevator Industry Educational program (NEIEP), the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) and Elevator World, Inc. Safety is a non-partisan and non-proprietary subject in this group - every company's safety record affects the industry as a whole.

Recently they encouraged ELEVATOR WORLD to build a safety site to distribute as much information as possible within the industry. We will add to it periodically and we hope our readers will send us their ideas on making this a safer industry to work in.
